Your generosity and commitment to Ivy Tech inspires our college community, and the extent of our gratitude is difficult to express in a single message. Our alumni, our faculty and staff, our students, and our partners throughout Indiana have always been there for us during our 60 years of educating Hoosiers. But the results of our first 5-year, statewide campaign – Invest IN Ivy Tech – exceeded our imagination. In 2018, we set an ambitious goal. We planned to raise $285 million in our first comprehensive campaign that would support our students, enrich our communities, and impact our state. Thanks to your generous support and commitment, we raised $340 million – 19 percent over our goal!

Your generosity is going to be felt for decades. Here are a just few ways donors like you are making an impact already:

We have expanded our nursing program across Indiana to ensure health care facilities and patients have the support they need. IU Health committed our largest health care gift, $8.75 million, that led to $20 million raised across the state. Today, Ivy Tech produces more graduates with associate degrees in nursing than any college in the U.S.
Our new $15 million Lilly Scholars program funded by Eli Lilly and Company will create scholarships and learning opportunities for high school and college students with diverse backgrounds who intend to pursue careers in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
We have opened new state-of-the-art facilities in Columbus, Kokomo, and Muncie helping us to recruit and train students who are ready to contribute to Indiana communities.

These efforts, and so many others, elevate our contributions across Indiana more than ever. That said, we cannot let up on our commitment to students. Checkered flags are a big deal in Indiana, but we don’t use them in Higher Education. We are never done seeking out the next innovation or opportunity to support our students and communities. A wonderful example is Ivy+ Career Link -- the most comprehensive career coaching and employer engagement system in the nation that prepares students for careers in high-demand industries in Indiana. Emerging needs in a quickly evolving workforce environment will require strategies that ensure we’re providing students and faculty with the tools they need. We are committed to delivering Higher Education at the Speed of Life.

Whether you contributed $1 million or $1, your generosity secures our vision for students who are helping Indiana succeed. We are proud to be part of this important Indiana institution that fills gaps in our workforce like no one else can, and we are excited to prepare the next generation of Hoosier students for our evolving workforce.
